San Marcos FFA Booster Club
Jesse Balboa Jr. was the founder of the San Marcos FFA Booster club and Lamb Superintendent for Hays County. While in office as Booster President he took pride in recruiting and introducing youth to showing animals, learning responsibility and how to take pride in something that they showed, and the reward at the end with hard work and dedication. He took pride in teaching the youth and strived to better more children than just his own.
San Marcos FFA Scholarship History
The San Marcos FFA Memorial Scholarship fund is in honor of Jesse Balboa Jr. Jesse dedicated much of his adult life introducing youth to FFA and 4-H. He passed away in 2006 after a short battle of Lou Gehrigs disease.
The Balboa family teams up with San Marcos FFA with a goal to increase the amount of scholarships for our FFA senior members each year. The Bacon Bustin Bow-nanza is a fun way to raise money and get everyone involved. We hope that you are able to participate in our hunt, provide sponsorship or even purchase raffle tickets for some of our great raffle prizes.
